Terms of Service
1. What Verifi provides
Verifi gives instant reference information about export and import requirements, and on request produces reports that a named compliance reviewer has checked and signed. Reference information shown before a reviewer has signed it is labelled unreviewed and is not a clearance, a legal opinion or a guarantee that a shipment will pass customs.
2. Your account
- You sign up with a work email and choose whether you act as an exporter, an importer or a customs house agent. Reviewer and admin accounts are provisioned by Verifi only.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private and for activity under your account.
- Accounts belong to an organisation. Members of the same organisation see that organisation's shipments and reports and nothing else.
3. Reviewed reports
A reviewed report states the reviewer's name, the sources relied on and the date of review. It remains valid until a cited source changes; when that happens the report is marked stale in your library and can be revalidated. Fees are shown before you pay.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Verifi to screen or profile private individuals, to attempt to obtain another organisation's data, or to interfere with the service. Verifi does not connect to ICEGATE on your behalf; filing with customs remains yours or your licensed agent's.
5. Changes and contact
We will notify account holders by email before a material change to these terms takes effect. See also the Privacy Policy.
